This website is owned and operated by Wix. The content on this website is owned by Anything QT. These terms set out the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and products and services we offer. This website offers to visitors, livestock (fish, coral, invertebrates) and dry goods for sale. It also offers consultation services.
Our services draw from our extensive personal experience accumulated over many years. While we're confident that our products and services contribute to the success of your aquarium, they are most effective when applied to new aquarium setups or environments with established sterile systems. This is due to the multitude of external factors beyond our control. Introducing non-quarantined livestock (fish, coral, invertebrates) into your aquarium system can introduce disease. Further, each aquarium and its inhabitants, even within the same species, can exhibit unique conditions and behaviours. It's essential to closely monitor the interactions of your specific livestock within your aquarium setting. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the information provided. Customers should consider their own specific circumstances before making any decisions to purchase our products or take any actions based on the information provided on this website or the advice we provide. By accessing or using our website, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
To use our website and/or receive our services, you must be of the legal age in their jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.
When buying livestock, dry goods or booking a consultation service with Anything QT, buyers agree that: (i) they are reading the full livestock, dry goods listing and/or service offering before making a commitment to buy the livestock, dry goods and/or book our services (ii) buyers enter a legally binding contract to purchase our livestock, dry goods and/or use our services when they complete the check-out and payment process.
The prices we charge for our products and services are listed on the website. All prices are listed in AUD and the amount payable is inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change our prices for livestock, dry goods displayed and/or service offerings at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and tax is available on the payment page. Prices can shift due to market and supplier price movements, or other surprises we can’t control. If you're eyeing something low in stock or want to place a special order, give us a shout beforehand. Prices for out-of-stock items or special-order items might be different to our site because of the time it may take to get the orders from our suppliers and re-surface on our website. We'll try to cushion any variation, but we’ll let you know if there’s a change.
We may, without prior notice, change, stop or limit the types of products and services or features of the products and services we offer. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to our products or services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.
We’re a small business, so we aim to fulfil all orders within 2-5 business days of receiving full payment of our invoice.

Livestock (fish, coral, invertebrates)

Quality and safety first – we reserve the right to call the shots on livestock orders. Low stock, fish health concerns, extreme weather may include reasons we are unable to supply your order on time. If you're eyeing something low in stock or a special order, give us a shout beforehand.
For inter-state buyers, its airport-to-airport shipping only! Buyers must collect their aquatic companions promptly (within 24 hours) from their local airport depot. Missing out could invalidate any Arrive Alive & Healthy claim.
Import requirements are different for different states. Certain fish species and other livestock like coral, snails, and other invertebrates may be prohibited, restricted, require inspection by the relevant authorities or require a permit. Buyers must be familiar with the requirements in their state before they dive in with us. We won’t be liable for any breaches of bio-security requirements or expenses incurred from buyers trying to import prohibited or restricted livestock. Any associated costs with importing or quarantining requirements required by the authorities in the buyer's state will be passed on to the buyer.

Dry goods

Postage to regional areas may incur an additional charge.
Inspect all items on arrival. If something’s damaged on arrival, tell us within 24 hours.

Fish Only

Rest assured, we guarantee the live arrival and healthy quality of ALL the fish we sell. Buyers must inspect all livestock bags upon arrival for any Dead on Arrival (DoA).
In the unlikely event of any livestock DoA, we stand by our guarantee. Buyers must contact us immediately, (on inspection of livestock bags) and:
- leave the bag sealed
- not discard the livestock
- send us photos and/or videos of the dead livestock in the sealed bag.
If pictures or videos of deceased livestock are unclear, we may advise you to remove the specimen from the bag for a better view. However, please refrain from doing so unless instructed by us directly.
Once verified, we'll issue you a replacement livestock. If the same species isn’t available, we'll issue a credit towards your next order (less shipping). Shipping costs are non-refundable, and buyers must cover associated fees for replacement shipments.
The following will nullify / void our Arrive Alive and Healthy guarantee:
- discarding the livestock without photos and/or videos, or having the bags opened before contacting us
- not collecting an order from your airport depot within 24 hours of delivery. This is because the transport bags only provide a limited amount of oxygen to your marine pals. Climate conditions (e.g. heat, cold) may also impact your pals if left unattended for a longer than intended timeframe.

Fish only

We stand behind the quality of our marine majesties. We offer a Stay Alive guarantee of 72 hours from arrival. However, this guarantee does not cover fish loss associated with:
- existing bacterial, viral, fungal diseases and parasites (e.g. marine white spot, marine velvet) that may be present in buyers' aquariums
- existing environmental conditions, behavioural or territorial issues in buyers' aquariums e.g. bullying, and the physical injuries that may arise to the fish you've purchased from us and introduced into your aquarium
- you not following the care requirements outlined.
It is the buyer's responsibility to closely observe their fish during initial introduction to their aquariums, deal with territorial issues and follow any care requirements we’ve outlined. Some species like puffers, boxfish and cowfish release deadly toxins when stressed or hurt - these toxins are capable of wiping out aquariums. Anything QT does not take responsibility for losses, should these fish poison buyers' aquariums.
If you notice issues with your marine majesties in the 72-hour timeframe, contact us immediately. Take videos and photos of the marine majesty experiencing said issues within the 72-hour timeframe so we can help to diagnose the problem.
If a buyer experiences a loss within the Stay Alive 72-hour timeframe from arrival, get in touch with us immediately and:
- provide us with photos and/or videos leading up to the loss of livestock life and after the loss of livestock life
- photograph the specimen on both sides, on a white background, in a well-lit place
- not discard the specimen or it may void this guarantee.
This guarantee excludes any marine majesties labelled as 'Rare' or 'Less Common' or designated as 'Expert Only.’ This is because species under these designations often require specialised or dedicated care due to the regions or depths they are collected from. Further, fish designated ‘Expert Only’ are recommended for experienced aquarists, zoos, or research institutions only.
In lieu of providing a stay alive guarantee for marine majesties with these designations (‘Rare’, ‘Less Common’ or ‘Expert Only’), Anything QT houses them for an additional 3-4 weeks on completion of the TTM or quarantine process. This should help to alleviate concerns you might have about fish mortality, prior to purchasing.

All products on this website

We're fin-tastic, but we're not miracle workers. We won't be liable for lost-in-transit items or return postage or shipping costs. Please think about securing your own insurance for your peace of mind.
No refunds for gift-card too, sorry.

Fish

Buyers might be able to make a claim under our Arrive Alive & Healthy Policy or our Stay Alive (72-hour) Policy (there are conditions, see policies above).
If your claim is approved, we'll issue a replacement livestock for the same species. If the same species isn’t available, we’ll issue a credit towards your next order (less shipping). Shipping costs are non-refundable, and buyers must cover associated fees for replacement shipments.
If for any reason, buyers are not satisfied with their purchase, please contact us immediately on receiving your order.

Dry goods (Aquatic essentials category – these orders are fulfilled by our third party)

All undamaged or damaged items bought in this category ('Aquatic Essentials') must be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt. Email us first to confirm the correct return address. While we can handle the return for you, to speed up the process, we advise sending the item directly to the supplier.
In general, if you're returning an undamaged item:
- all items must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging
- any safety seals must not be damaged and all labels retained.
For undamaged items, sorry, we do not cover the cost of postage for your returns.
For damaged items, we will request the supplier cover the cost of postage for your return or exchange.

All other dry goods

Please be aware, the ACCC does not cover refunds or exchanges for change of mind and neither do we.
For damaged items:
- send us an email with photos attached of the damaged item and we will replace the same item for you. Where there is no suitable replacement, we will offer you the choice of issuing a store credit or a refund
- any refunds, exchanges or store-credits will only be issued once we receive evidence of the damaged product
- we will cover the cost of posting the replacement item to you.
For undamaged items, where the buyer may not be satisfied with the quality of our products:
- send us an email or give us a call to discuss your concerns
- we reserve the right to call the shots on refunds, exchanges or to provide store-credits on a case-by-case basis
- we may offer you the choice of sending a replacement item, refund or store credit
- any refunds, exchanges or store-credits will only be issued once we receive the undamaged product back from you
- you’re on the hook for paying postage for the products you return to us.
Any refunds made or store-credits issued, will be processed for the original purchase price of the product only, excluding postage.

Collecting your personal information

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We collect personally identifiable information including your name, address, email details, and phone number. They are our essentials when you subscribe with us, place an order, or contact us.
We also collect non-personal information, including your IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior on our website. We may use software tools to measure and collect information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information and methods used to browse away from the page.
We collect both personal and non-personal information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the services on our website.
To transact with you when you purchase a product or a service on our website.
To provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support.
To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages.
To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services.
To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Storing, using, sharing and disclosing your personal information

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and where used by us, adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Communicating with our customers

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Using cookies and other tracking tools

As our organisation is hosted on the Wix.com platform, Wix uses cookies for important reasons, such as to:
- provide a great experience for visitors and customers.
- identify registered members (users who registered to our site).
- monitor and analyze the performance, operation and effectiveness of Wix's platform.
- ensure the WIX platform is secure and safe to use.
