Aussie Flame Angelfish
Snapshot: A top choice among dwarf angelfish enthusiasts. While the typical Fame Angelfish steals the spotlight with its bold red-orange hue, this one is from Australian waters. It has a more orange colouration with striking blue-purple fin edges.
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 15cm or so. Range extends from east of the Philippines to Samoa, occasionally Hawaii, and south to the Great Barrier Reef. With slight color variations based on collection location, each Flame Angelfish is a unique gem to behold.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, fish-only system, or reef aquarium with care.
Aquarium set-up: To keep this vibrant fish happy, provide a spacious tank with plenty of live rock for grazing. It thrives in established systems.
