Koran Angelfish
Snapshot: Also known as the Semicircular or Halfcircled Angelfish. Juveniles rock a bold blue-black hue from head to tail, jazzed up with sleek white stripes that twist towards the tail base. As it matures, its stunning blue colouration transitions to brown. As an adult, it has blue edging across its fins and stripes across its face.
Other tidbits: Can grow up to a whopping 40cm or so! Widely distributed, ranging from the tropical waters throughout the Indo-Pacific region and the Red Sea. The markings on its tail resemble Arabic script from the holy Koran, giving this fish its uniquely spiritual name.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, or fish-only system. Larger size aquarium needed.

Feeding: Angelfish are omnivorous champs. Keep 'em happy with a smorgasbord of high-quality marine flakes, nutrient-rich algae like nori, live treats, and frozen crustaceans like brine or mysis shrimp, and top-notch frozen blends.
