Snapshot: This beauty sports a silvery-gray hue with aberrant bold black stripes from eye to tail. The female boasts even bolder stripes extending into the caudal fin.

 

Other tidbits: Can grow up to 25cm or so. Native to the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and east towards Vanuatu and the Great Barrier Reef. 

 

Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, fish-only system, or reef aquarium.

    Feeding: Angelfish are omnivorous champs. Keep 'em happy with a smorgasbord of high-quality marine flakes, nutrient-rich algae like nori, live treats, and frozen crustaceans like brine or mysis shrimp, and top-notch frozen blends.
