Orange Spotted Blenny
Snapshot: Also know as the Red-Spotted Blenny. This fish sports a bold red and white body, decked out with vibrant orange to reddish spots that pop along its sides.
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 13cm or so. Distributed throughout the East and West Indian Oceans, Australia, Indonesia, and the Central/West Pacific Ocean.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system or reef aquarium with care. Mature or well established aquarium only.
Aquarium set-up: These fish love to hang out in a well-kept aquarium where they can munch on algae from rocks and stones. And don't forget the lid — these acrobats are known to make daring leaps from open aquariums! Maintain an aquatic utopia by nailing the basics: rock-solid water quality with top-notch filtration and routine partial water changes.
Feeding: For these natural-born cleaners to thrive, they need a well-established aquarium bursting with natural algae to munch on. You can always supplement their diet with mysis and brine shrimp to keep them happy and healthy.
AQT note: All our fish feast on a diet of seaweed, marine pellets, flakes and frozen treats under our care. Keep the feast going in your tank!
