Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse
Snapshot: This beauty sports an arrowhead shape. It dazzles in vibrant red and orange with striking yellow vertical stripes as a juvenile. As it matures, it transforms into a stunning deep rusty hue that’s sure to turn heads.
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 8cm or so. Distributed throughout the East and West Indian Oceans, Australia, Japan, The Red Sea, Indonesia, East Pacific, and the Central/West Pacific Ocean.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system or reef aquarium.Well established and mature aquarium needed. Thick, sandy substrate needed.

Feeding: This species truly thrives when there’s a lively buffet of micro life — like copepods and amphipods — swimming around in the tank! It loves to forage and snack, always on the lookout for delicious treats! Keep your Wrasse in top form with a gourmet diet of vitamin-enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, alongside high-quality marine flakes and pellets.
